Kids' dentistry

Little teeth,
big patience.

Gentle dentistry for children in Kolagappara — built around trust, never force.

Gentle fluoride application on a child's teeth

Sometimes children refuse to eat not because they're being fussy — but because of dental pain they're too young to explain.

Dr. Sneha's message to parents: don't dismiss milk teeth as "they'll fall out anyway." Children need them to eat well, speak clearly, and guide the permanent teeth into place.
The first visit

No drill. No rush.
Just hello.

Ideally, a child's first visit happens around the time the first milk tooth arrives — and it isn't about treatment at all. It's about making the clinic a familiar, friendly place, one small step at a time.

1

First visit — getting familiar

A ride in the chair, a look at the instruments, everything explained in child-friendly language — tell, show, do. No procedures unless there's an emergency.

2

Second visit — something small

A gentle fluoride application or a small filling — so your child learns appointments aren't scary. A little reward at the end helps too.

3

Third visit — a comfortable child

By now, most children walk in happy. That comfort is the foundation for a lifetime of easy dental visits.

Why children settle here

A corner just for them.

A play corner with a slide and games, no hurry in the schedule, everything explained before it happens — and you beside your child the whole time. Most children leave asking when they can come back.

Specialist care, close to home.

Our visiting pedodontist and orthodontist see children right here — including early orthodontic assessment — so specialist opinions don't mean a drive to the city. We don't treat under general anaesthesia; children who need it are referred to an appropriate centre, safely.

Honest answers

What parents ask us.

When should my child first see a dentist?

Ideally on or before the first milk tooth appears. Early visits are mostly for you — guidance on feeding, teething and daily care that sets the foundation for life.

Do milk teeth really need treating?

Yes. Children need their milk teeth to eat well, speak clearly, and hold space for the permanent teeth. Decay in a milk tooth deserves the same care as any other.

Will it hurt?

First visits involve no procedures at all. When treatment is needed, it's done gently under local anaesthesia, in small steps your child can handle.

What if my child won't cooperate?

Then we slow down. Short visits, tell-show-do, encouragement, and starting with painless steps — never force. And never anything without your presence and your permission.

Can I stay with my child?

Always. Your presence is part of the plan, not an exception to it.
